How Houston Closed Out Pittsburgh
C.J. Stroud and the Texans walked into a tough road environment and didn’t blink, knocking off Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers to move on.
Houston carried a slim lead into halftime even after a couple of fumbles, then the game turned into a defensive grind coming out of the break. The third quarter was scoreless, but the Texans kept stacking stops and eventually broke it open late.
In the fourth, Houston added points and slammed the door with two back-breaking defensive scores — a fumble return touchdown and a pick-six — to put it completely out of reach.
Next up: Houston heads to New England with a spot in the AFC Championship on the line.
